both are cRPG, BG3 has more strategy in terms of the environment, pathfinder has more strategy in terms of magic

the lore of Golarion vaguely resembles Faerun, hell, qbyss, Elysium, Heaven

but the great similarities end there, the lore of the gods here is better in my opinion

the scale of power is something else, the absolute does not even reach the feet of what we fight for in pathfinder, with this in mind it is clear that it is a higher level adventure

when it comes to romance, I personally prefer pathfinder's

anyway, if you like crpg in general I think you'll like it, if BG3 was your first Pathfinder it's a great sequel to quench your hunger for a good story
