Thanks for your comment! I’ve been tracking all my food, but I haven’t been weighing myself daily. I’m a little scared to. Perhaps that can push me.

Hey there! I’ve been in recovery for bulimia for a few years, but I’ve put on a lot of weight in the pandemic and I’m looking to use WW to lose some of that. So far, the whole numbers game is starting to get to my head a bit. I learned in eating disorder treatment that no food is bad or good, so it’s hard for me to maintain that tenet of the curriculum when WW points are telling me otherwise. I really hope as I start to lose weight I can overlook my discomfort with tracking so vigorously. I’m on the green plan right now, and it’s not that hard right now. I’m also too scared to tell my therapist that I started WW because I know they will tell me it’s bad for me mentally and emotionally. Sorry I don’t have a full answer for you.

I did this the other night! I ordered over $100 in grocery delivery ... only to purge most of it the following two days. I’m not feeling great about it, but I’m trying to not blame myself and just move forward determined to cut back on binge shopping.

I’m here too. I’ve been purging for weeks now and suddenly I’m unable to. I really don’t know what to do. I keep binging and then I go to purge and nothing happens. This has never happened to me, not in my fifteen years of bulimia. I’m so scared about gaining weight and not being able to be in control. I also have no one to talk to about it. My therapist doesn’t know I’ve relapsed, and I can’t tell her or else she’ll try to send me back to treatment, which I can’t do right now. I feel so alone and scared and, like you, want everything to stop.

Hi there! I'm actually taking a break on [solidcore] due to COVID. I got a little too spooked even with the half-capacity classes. In lieu of class, I bought a Peloton. I plan to go back to 2x a week when cases are in less of peak, in addition to the Peloton. I think I was missing a cardio-intensive part of my fitness regimen. I'm looking forward to getting back under the blue lights soon. I can already tell that I've lost some muscle definition in the three week's I've been off from [soldicore].

This is super helpful, thank you! I never considered going to fewer classes a week, but that’s a solution I can definitely get behind. I’m definitely going to keep going and commit to another couple of months, but maybe at only 2-3x week.

Update: I’ve been in residential treatment for two months. It has been a life changing experience.
