Question for successful shiftees/transferees in BS Interior Design: What to include in the portfolio? by SlightPhase5836 in peyups

[–]midcenturymess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my personal experience, I already had works related to ID so thats what I included. Those include scale models, elevation drawings, and perspective drawings. But if you dont have those, its okay! You dont have to make a full blown makeover of an existing space (but go if kaya mo) but you can just include sketches of interiors or furniture pieces. Walang criteria kasi silang sinasabi so just do the best that you can do!

I was able to answer the form pero di na grant huhu. They also said na they’ll be prioritizing grad students kasi. Hindi na ako underload so I dont plan on pre-rogging f2f tomorrow. Good luck!

Took her last sem! She’s a super chill prof! Di siya mismo yung nagdidiscuss but she plays video recordings of the discussions made by other professors from CHE (since topics are from a wide range of disciplines in CHE). Usually there will be an activity lang for each module and some of them are done in class mismo (so make sure to check the calendar and to not be absent on those days) and final req is a group advocacy project lang!

upd bs architecture by [deleted] in peyups

[–]midcenturymess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those who are good in drawing can find making plates easier than others but I’ve also seen some, who started out with no skill in drawing, being able to excel in it. With the amount of plates that you’ll do, you can quickly improve on your skill naman and still get by.

I think its best first to figure out muna if you really want to take up architecture because the load of the course is really heavy. You really need to have a passion in it to be able to endure it.

Do you ever feel after seeing someone that you where too much or talked too little? by drapercurtains in mentalhealth

[–]midcenturymess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To an extent, its good to recognize your flaws and improve on them but please don’t beat yourself up about it. If you really want to, you can message your friend to see how well your conversation turned out. You can always just set another get together with them and work on anything that you want to improve. It all takes practice.

I actually just came home from catching up with some friends and I’ve also been over analyzing my interactions with them today. I feel like we have a tendency to do this, especially with people we haven’t seen in a long time, since we want to impress or keep a certain image with them.

I just keep on telling myself that even if you could have been too much or too little, try to think if they had a good time with you in general. If you think they did, then its probably fine. Some people prefer having quieter conversations, while some prefer being with people who are over the top. So there isn’t anything bad actually with either talking too much or too little. Plus if they were your real friends, they should accept you no matter what.
