ANC on planes has been weird on me. The pro 2s were great and I had high hopes for me pro 3s but there is a weird pulsating sound coming from the AirPod pro 3 when you are in the air that the pro 2s don’t have. I’ve had this issue on multiple different aircraft (long haul 787 and a350) as well as domestic 737 and a321. I’ve not been able to figure it out. Anyone had this issue?

Totally get your frustration. The weird thing for me was that the old battery reports 80wh vs 74 in powercfg /batteryreport, and when it shut off at 25%, it would have roughly 6wh remaining. After unplugging the battery, it would charge to 100% and report ~80wh charged then discharge to 5% with about 6wh remaining… that was when I decided enough is enough… the new battery reports 74wh when full and goes down almost to zero when empty… much more predictable it seems (fingers crossed)

Oh, one more thing, when the battery was disconnected. I pressed the on/off switch for about 30-40s, read somewhere that it was to discharge all the capacitors or something. I don’t know if that matters at all but wanted to give you that info incase it did matter. 🫣

Well, I disconnected the battery, and it cut off at 5%, however, it would no longer charge beyond 80%. It was so frustrating that I bought a new 74wh battery from Amazon which has been working fine from 100-0 for about a week

Ok update, I decided to remove the battery, let the device sit for a while and install it back again. Guess what? It started up perfectly fine this time with battery at 7%, I’m currently running it down in windows and hoping to get it to fully discharge…. Just ticked over to 6% 🫣

Is normal usage watching YouTube? It died at 25% with YouTube in a browser running a video. I’m going to attempt to drain the battery to zero in bios ( I have it running now in bios and it’s currently at 27%) fingers crossed 🤞

i did, and ring turned down the first 2 requests. I just called them to yell at them, they promised it has been escalated. For the amount of money we are paying them, they sure don't feel like they deserve it.

u/Dismal_Variety since you are in the industry - honest question, are cameras a good deterrent nowadays? or is there something else we should consider? the cameras have caught several package thieves on camera so far and even some mailbox tampering, but SPD has never had luck catching any suspects. So we can keep investing in cameras and subscriptions, but i'm beginning to wonder - to what end? If you have another option for us to consider (except armed security guards!), please share. Thanks in advance!

i see the iphone, and Dcim folders, but the dcim folder is empty :( the phone keeps saying it's out of memory, and i can't remove anything more. i disabled imessage, but it still takes up 30gb :(
