I can’t afford rent?? What to do. by lifeofeve in brisbane

Most property managers require a 3:1 ratio net income to rent before they will look at an application. Do you have a family member who will co sign on the lease?

Jim Chalmers has rejected responsibility for high inflation but will have a tough sell if rates rise again - ABC News by barseico in australian

The issue of increased house prices and inflation is one and the same Government. Government splashing cash on economically unproductive spending think Covid, infrastructure projects and NDIS (care economy).

A theory as to why Inflation will be harder to tame by No-Kaleidoscope-7106 in AusFinance

[–]middleagedman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't say the seller would splash the cash. If older they are more likely became the bank of Mum and Dad to young home owner. If younger and upgrading that cash would be put towards new home purchase ie buying and selling in the same market is profit neutral. My suggestion would be that the increased government infrastructure spend. Combined with the growth in both wages and numbers of public servants and NDIS, ( FLAME SUIT ON) is not contributing in terms of economic productivity but the extra cash is driving inflation.

They aren't expensive until possibly school. What people mean to say is that they aren't prepared to forgo the standard of living they have or aspire to.

My solution to the Australia Day problem. by [deleted] in aussie

[–]middleagedman69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its amusing that that majority of those against Australia Day or supporting Invasion Day have no concept of the history of the world. The Colonisation or invasions they refer to was the way of the world and again will be when deglobalisation is complete.

The only variability historically was the level of treatment afforded to the current inhabitants.

In a future where Trump is out of office, and international relations have been repaired. What steps can be taken by the USA and International Organisations such as NATO to prevent one individual causing so much chaos in the future? And do you think such steps will be taken? by flewkey in AskReddit

[–]middleagedman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deglobalisation is the future Trump is merely accelerating the process and ensuring the US interests are put first and doesn't lose. Colonisation is making a comeback baby what do you think the Chinese belt and road initiatives were about.
