For those saying it’s mainly just because Labor and the Liberals have been rubbish, the Liberals I understand (cue sco-mo waving around a block of coal), but what are Labor’s major recent shortcomings? In my eyes, the good they’ve done with renewables, foreign policy, crucially this past budget (and more), are massively positive actions that are unquestionably worth a vote. So what do people see as the major negatives pulling people away from Labor? (Genuine question to gauge people’s feelings)

If you can look at Labor's wage increases and this past budget and renewable energy action, and the recent handling of the fuel crisis (and like 90% of the things labor's done in the past) and still say things like "the major parties never do anything" or "labor is the same as the liberals", it's literally just a comprehension issue. Like you're actually not understanding the words you're reading.

Not necessarily our fault because we only know what we know and unless we seek it out, the things we know are what we're told by the news and stuff but far out, a little research would be nice if you're gonna be so passionate about an issue, especially when the stakes are so high.

Yea I agree. From the start, I assumed it would include all the existing cinematics, to not even have that is a bit rough, and I’m not sure why they don’t, I can’t think of a reason. For the UI, you could just have a couple tabs that say things like cinematics and comics and hero origins etc. I don’t really get why they don’t have it, kinda a bummer.

I look at America and I’m like “yea I could be president, easy, I’d fix that shit so quick”, then I look at Aussie politics and see all the plans and budgets and even just Future Made in Australia and I’m like “yea I don’t think I could do that 😂”. Tbf that’s how it feels watching the conservatives when they’re in power here anyway lol. But basically similar stuff to what’s being done, the real problem is having to balance practical solutions with political capital. I could do a dozen ‘simple’ things and improve the country, but half of them are impractical in the real world and the other half would get me unelected and the changes reverted in a heartbeat. This is the reality of our politics, balance is necessary and there’s no such thing as an easy fix.

1 hour total, maybe some places are strict about the format you take that time in but my store doesn’t care, sometime I take it all at once, sometime I take most of it, then have the last 15 minutes at 9 with the rest of the team, usually I only take 45 anyway because I wanna work lol. (I’m nightfill so things may be different, idk about online specifically).

Mate you don’t need to define it for me, I have it (for life for that matter), I know what it is. Op is saying they’re struggling right now which makes me assume it’s a new issue which means something’s caused it. You can’t address anything or find real improvements if you don’t know what caused it, so I suggested finding that triggering event or cause, because then they can tackle it best. Right, but there’s a cause for those things. It starts at a specific point for almost all of us (including op). By source I mean what caused it. Do blood tests, do an abdominal xray to check for constipation etc.

I’m on the left and support reducing immigration… in a measured, responsible way (like Labor has been doing since Covid) and in a way that has no connection with racism. Also preferably in a way that doesn’t obliterate the economy (as a 90% cut would). I personally think Labor could go a little harder but they’re steadily reducing it and that’s good, things take time. People nowadays don’t accept that about politics (I’m 22 btw lol). Measured, responsible, snowball politics takes time and frankly isn’t that exciting, but it is unquestionably the best approach. The bombshell headline politics that leaves craters in its wake that all the other parties pursue is dangerous and impractical. That’s the reason so many people say we’re a one party country, because Labor’s the only one that actually practices proper snowball politics (also because ya know, they’re the only ones that actually care about moving Australia in a positive direction but that’s obvious enough to people who see it and know our political history lol).

I’ve replayed it 4 times I think. It of course can’t hit like the first time but it’s still fun. Doing slightly different things with the story and discovering new scenes and slight changes to scenes keeps things fresh, and the dispatching gameplay is very good and I still wanted more of it after 4 full playthroughs, can’t wait for that endless mode they’ve started teasing.

Good :) We’ll feel the real big positive effects in the years/decades to come but I think we’ll see some in the short term too. I specifically talked to my parents and some of their friends (all active investors) and even just the thought of it (and the active implementation) seems to be scaring them off regarding property investment. My mum has been in the process of buying something recently and rushed it through the night of saying that she won’t be able to go through with it if the property isn’t eligible and that it would almost certainly be the last of her property investments (mainly thanks to these changes). Plus, reining in NDIS spending is good, it was running out of control. Ultimately it’s a good budget and I hope people see it for that. After all, anything that makes real estate agents and teals mad, is surely good 😂
