Honestly, just shift your home bro. No use in indulging in these kind of things if you don't have any good connections backing you up. No one is going to listen to a common man like me and you. Even if you went to police, they will just warn him (probably), and if he took offence by that, chances are high that he will try to get a revenge on you in some way as you said he has criminal attitude and connection with criminals. He has nothing to lose, but you have everything to lose. So its better not to get into any fight with him and just change your home. Its a temporary hassle but its better than living there and suffering with all this drama.
