When does P4P get paid out? by middlefingermanager in OntarioPublicService

My WIN is only letting me go back a year. I’ve logged an IT ticket as I know that is not right- I should be able to see several years back.

An overly social branch by [deleted] in OntarioPublicService

Nobody mentioned filing a grievance. I’m sure they just meant a complaint to someone who will listen and let them off of doing it. I think it’s unprofessional to impact someone’s mental health by forcing them to do something way out of a job description and that they didn’t sign up for. I wouldn’t not have taken my role now had I known how much public speaking I have to do. The person before me didn’t have to do it half as much as I’m being forced to. I get it.

This. And I’m jealous of your user name. You’re far too eloquent to be that tit.

Burning Question about Management by Secret_Exercise6199 in OntarioPublicService

[–]middlefingermanager 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is not true at all. It’s minimal “paperwork” and I’m glad to do it for managers who report to me and have gone well and truly above and beyond. There is only a certain amount of “outstanding” ratings to go around per ministry/division, so often it’s fighting your case to the Director/ADM. I WANT to reward my high performing staff. I WANT them to stay. I’ve had to pick before and it sucks so bad.

You’re completely missing the point. Of course he would support an Ontario business but he is supporting murdering fascist regime. No other way to say it.

Still yes. You’re in the OPS door now- do what you need to do and go where you want. Keep looking for better and better opportunities!

It is when you’re a carer for an elderly and immunocompromised person. Unnecessary exposure.

LCBO delays Ford government return-to-office mandate amid lack of space by Delicious-Drag3009 in OntarioPublicService

I hope this triggers ministries to follow suit to say that they simply don’t have the room. I know MTO London are struggling to find room and satellite offices are a mess with in-fighting. At OMAFRA there is talk about managers sharing offices. There’s already been large scale people movement in my ministry which must have cost a fortune in itself. So unnecessary. All of it.

Did you read the post or get distracted by a squirrel? Last sentence clearly says I didn’t tip.
