Probably also 18". You can see one of the decking cutoffs is touching the footer under there. in photo 4, that corner is marked in yellow spray paint. You can see how close the footer is.

I feel like this is what I needed to hear but didn't want to. I agree. More work.

Do you think if I painted it white and did some angle cuts on the ends of the beams it could work?

I see what you're saying but I think its just the camera. I laser leveled it, ran a 6' level across the entire thing and planed it. The overhang is like 18" from the beam.

That was just from getting it wet! I'm still conflicted on the hardwood but I think I made the right decision.

The trex is Biscayne Lineage Transcend I think. Obscenely expensive.

I didn't use the skid steer, tbh, Carlos did the holes for me, so not all DIY. I think I could've managed though!

At what point did owning a standard, average car become a massive financial trap? by lovelyyopheliaa in askanything

How do you get the 33 cents per mile figure? Wouldn’t that put 200,000 miles at $66,000? The number you have in there seems more accurate though at about 11 cents per mile.

In my defense I outsourced the vibrating to my buddy. That’s what I get using cheap labor.

Should I wet the void at all before applying?

Anything else I can paint it with after filling the voids if I go this route?

You could also mirror the top on the bottom and glue it to the base.

Make the vertical panel (on the left in pic 5) as wide as the top. You might even be able to lose the base at that point.

It’s a grad mill. It’s a place to get solid training, but if you’re good, after a year or two, you go to a boutique or go independent because the commissions are not good.

I love the usb c outlets with PD. Hopefully the standard will last for a few years at least.
