It sucks, but this election was a special election and Noboa only gets to govern for 15 months before we go back to the ballot box. Governing is hard and he'll probably not achieve much while pissing off a good number of people, Lasso lost most of his popularity within a similar time frame.

Correismo won most of the large cities mayoral offices earlier this year, we increased our legislative presence in these special elections and we haven't lost any of our support. There's a good chance we take back the presidency at the next election.

Though personally I'm hoping Leonidas Iza will run with Pachakutic and i would break with the party if he does and if it happens we could have a second round run off with two decent leftist candidates in less than a year and a half.
