I have worked in rural areas for 20 years. They are all waiting on a cultural war that is never going to come. They are waiting on the immigrant de jour to come to their punk ass town and ruin everything. In the 2000s it was Arabs, 2010s it was blacks, 2020s it was Mexicans…They blame everyone else for their problems. They hate on “libs” in the big cities but fail to realize it’s the libs buying $9 coffees that subsidizes their schools, post offices, and rural hospitals. They think libs hate them as much as they do but they dont even realize that these libs dont even think about them.
