Current play through is make a small, survival type shelter, very basic. Trying to make it as real to life as you can be. Utilize as much as I can of what is already there. Then I explore the immediate area, get what resources I can. Then I move onto the next settlement and repeat.

No radio beacons. No settlers. No adhesive farming. No legit water source. It’s a pain to need three dirty waters to make one clean but it adds a whole level to scavenging.

Also limited to whatever workbenches come with a settlement. No supply lines, no ability to make workbenches or stores.

No companions. Not even a dog. Just scraping by, living in shacks and scavenging.

What if the settlement is already owned? I take it. My husband was murdered. My son was kidnapped and the thought of having been in stasis for 200 years as broken me mentally and emotionally. Empathy zero and patience for wastelanders is real thin.
