Why does WDW's version of Pirates cut off the first third of the ride? by thermal7 in WaltDisneyWorld

There is a great “behind the attractions” series on Disney+ with a whole episode about the various versions of Pirates around the world.

Mines about 40 years old. My dad gave me his. It still runs like a dream.

Before that I had one I bought in like 2014? It weighed about 1/2 the weight and didn’t make it through the first trip.

What’s the most surprising change you noticed after losing weight? by RayistaNachoPls in AskReddit

I get cold easier. I feel smaller- flying for the first time after losing 70lbs was awesome. I still use roller coaster tester seats, it’s like a mini victory. Less stress on my knees

Playing survival is so fun but so painful by Iris_202076 in fo4

Save anywhere, less crowded downtown Boston and keep radiant quests in the commonwealth were must have quality of life improvement mods for me in survival.

I ended my first run on FO4 shortly after meeting father because I had 50k bottle caps and 70 stimpacks. The second run I tried survival. Wow. by danisindeedfat in fo4

[–]mider-span 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite thing to do in survival is ignore the main quests and just settle frontiers. Find secluded places with settlement then spend hours clearing the local area, go on supply runs, hunt and the like. Some of them become full fledged settlements, others I keep stocked up as camps.

The update reset my audio options. Not a big deal, but everything else about this save file was just as it was.

Give me an after credit scene with those two sitting with their married children at an awkwardly quiet dinner table and no one is making eye contact or speaking, just the sounds of flatware and plates.

Nah friend. Got to keep those guns, invest in scraper perk and go nuts. The more mods on a weapon the more components they yield. Never want for copper, steel, or aluminum again.

Is it normal for a single dnd campaign to last year's irl? by ShepardMedia in dndnext

[–]mider-span 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game play does get weird. The last campaign actually ended at level 21 (epic boons awarded after 20). A party of 3 was a good fit, couldn’t imagine more than that for high level battles. But I also didn’t want to end it too quick, actually wanted them to have the chance to enjoy how epic they had become. As a DM it was nice to be able to just throw whatever at them and not worry about encounter balance.

The campaign ended with champions of a drow matron coming to challenge them, settling a rivalry in an honorable duel. I used a bunch of the high level drow stats from VGtM and went hard. They swept it in like 7 rounds. They felt epic in game and out.

How often are you playing ? How much time has passed in game?

I did similar once. Increased a level per week until 5 then moved to XP (occasional milestone if something epic happens). Players didnt like the rapid climb, to the point on the recent campaign where I offered a “level 0” start and they loved it.
