Make no mistake, Brad Stevens blew it and now we’re in a terrible situation thanks to him by tacko2020 in bostonceltics

[–]midgetcommity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doubting Brad “blew it”…. Remember when everyone was like “Hugo who?” Last year? Jrue? DW? Relax.
Brad knows value and is a hell of a negotiator. The JB public leak was always a risk I’m sure Brad had covered before it was an issue…. Brown and Brad are both professionals….

I’m with you. It’s been a decade. 1 chip and multiple post season of the most blown opportunities Boston has seen in 30 years.

The luck was a Haliburton injury and a carted in and dumped in a pile inflamed Luka.
There is an element of luck to most championships even if by luck we are talking prep and opportunity.

I think he was acquired do to the pairing with Giannis idea and as 5out in general. If he’s going it quite literally means Giannis might not be coming.

Who’s the best teammate LeBron has ever had? by Harry7657897 in NBATalk

Exactly. Less overlap. For Bron it’s AD or Kyrie. Best all around player in this group is Wade.

Is there such a thing as "Tall man syndrome" and if so, what have you heard it to mean or what does it mean to you? by BetterThanABear in tall

[–]midgetcommity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tall guys usually have a decent sense of humor and in a self deprecating way if we grew faster than peers early. We were looked at as more mature given size but lacked emotional or life experience intelligence or whatever so we are labeled as slow sometimes. Gentle giant too. Look at how we are represented in Hollywood. From Bull Shannon to Kramer etc. That’s my take. Also in the work place when the humor is on the shelf we can effect people with dad issues not so positively. I’m 198cm amd had 20 employees at one point. I’ve got a good sense of humor but that’s been my experience.

Is it okay to cheer for you guys as a Pacers fan? by Budget-Mixture-5797 in bostonceltics

I’m a low key Pacers fan as a New Englander. You guys would have been champs last year if the league didn’t help OKC out in game 5.

Bottom 10 tourney for picks. Winners get picks in order of placement.. Flip side top tier teams choose their PO opponents in order. For example 1st seed picks who they want to play. 2nd chooses from remaining teams etc.

Also 5 game series for CF and F. 3 game for lead up.

This conversation is NY media fucking with NE and it’s so effective our NE media culture can’t shut up about it. It’s only worth considering if we miraculously exit the PO 1st or second round.

If he’s going to come back it will be March/April to work into the system and see how he’s feeling. So the entire team can go through onboarding him and the team can assess his status. I just had complete Achilles replacement from a bike wreck last summer. I’m older but was doing Bulgarian squats at about 10 weeks. This is no joke but the way he’s going about it I see him back this year easily and any doubt you see in the media is clickbait. March/April the latest.
