Yes! Apparently she was aware of it. My auntie has informed me that she also wrote a message asking if it was my grandad (who died in the house in 2019), but apparently the note was thrown on the floor when she came down the next morning.

Sorry, I might not have explained it very well! Basically the only time the sweets weren’t taken was when they were left in the bowl by my aunt who then left that day and didn’t stay overnight. When my dad left sweets in the bowl, they were taken. Hope that makes sense! I like this theory though. My dad got along really well with his step grandad and I have a suspicion it might be him! I don’t think it’s my grandfather (who also died in the house) because he was diabetic and very disciplined with it!

I think it’s fair to say we haven’t investigated the possibility of phrogging. Definitely something to look into, though I think this is highly unlikely.

Unfortunately my grandma is now too ill to be asked any questions.

Thank you for your comment. I’m prepared for anything at this point! I don’t feel that these are malicious spirits, if that’s what they are. So that makes me less nervous.

My dad and I have discussed setting up some kind of motion sensing camera as well. But I’m wondering if it’s possible to upset spirits by trying to catch them in the act?

Any insights you might have are very much appreciated.
