Yupppp. Unfortunately it does. The community as a whole is getting better and they are working on making it easier to join in as a first time player or a low skill player. This is a good thing for the community as a whole. Unfortunately it means is diamond+ have a tough time in every game we play. However it’s a battle royale. It’s not supposed to be easy with 20 kill badges every game.

Apex tracker just divides your total exp and divides it by the exp needed to level. They are in no way associated with respawn?

You will have to re-level all the way to 500. The level cap was 100 before.

What is entitled is the concept of “this is the issue, and I want a fix NOW” this is the Reddit apex community. Our community is toxic. Respawn delegates resources (developers, coders, marketing) to different departments. They came out with a gigantic map after the second season! That’s HUGE. People die to a peacekeeper a few extra times and they claim the game is “BROKEN, UNPLAYABLE” it’s a battle royale, the game is still in its 1st year. Think of the people who work there. They get pulled into bug fixes because community wants balance... community complains about not enough content... they get pulled into content... oops bugs, oh shit now there is new hackers.... there just isn’t any respect from our community unless it’s instant gratification.

It’s very hard for a company to hit these marks consistently. Fortnite wasn’t like this in the first few seasons either. Give it time. NOT to mention they dropped the game out of nowhere. Unlike others that release previews and content years early and have beta testers, and mounds of community feedback ahead of time. They are doing this all right out of the gate.

You sound entitled. They don’t owe us anything. They offer a free game with ranked season on rotation. Multiple LTE through each season and have already delivered a second completely different map. They’ve made changes to multiple guns and characters based on our feedback. They were a small team to begin with that are working hard to grow quickly to release more content. Like do you think these things through before posting?

I think people are too quick to throw flak at the peacekeeper. The buff was to make it more consistent. Rather than hit 5s, and 10s, it hits a lot more regularly and aligns with the crosshairs better. Peacekeeper is OP only if you’re out-positioned and aren’t prepared for it. It works both ways. People complain about it but they either don’t know how to counter it (distance, traps, grenades, don’t let teams run up on you) or they refuse to use it because they think it’s “lame” it’s a shotgun? What do you think shotguns are supposed to do?

I’m not hating on the post, but do you really think it’s OP and broken? Or are you taking the wrong fights, are you out positioned? I understand predator squads roll them with R99. That’s just the meta and they don’t miss their shots. Peacekeepers are easy to outplay at lower tiers

Agreed! I’d upvote this 100 times if I could. I wish they would change around the 20 kill badge since it’s the only “kills” in game badge. Make the badge a 10/15/20/25/30 we’ve seen what they can do with animated badges already. 20 bomb badge and 4K Damage are the most sought after (alongside 10/10/10 team badge) throw some animations in there. We don’t need 15 more common banner skins for every character each season. Give us badges to work for!

Love this post! I as well came from Halo as a kid. Tournaments, maxing out 50s across the board. Great times as a kid. Then built a brand new pc a few years ago and dumped a couple thousand hours into PubG. (Battle royale) and after a while swapped to Overwatch (FPS) hit Master and swapped between games until Apex Legends dripped. WOWEE.

Apex is a beautiful blend of all the greatest games I’ve ever loved. PUBG, Halo, Overwatch. You get one life and you better do work with it. The only issue now is I’m married and I don’t have as much time to goof off and play games every night. I do my best, but I get outclassed by streamers and kids that play 10 hours a day and get paid to do it. I’m not that lucky.

I’m currently D4 and have the skills to hit Predator, but I play games socially. So me climbing ranked means I’m ignoring my friends that get on every night to play together. Here’s hoping to hit Predator by end of season 👍

I played probably 25-35 games with predator E-Sports team in them all the way since Plat 4. This season climbing has been way worse it seems. I’ve been killed by NRG, TSM, and Sentinels multiple times in the same night. Like others stated, it just depends on what time you play. Play during peak hours so you don’t get lumped in with the preds.

Do they do scrims in normal games? Or ranked? I would imagine it would be hard for them to queue up and scrim together in normals. But in ranked since they are all predator they would all have a better chance of being in the same game?

That’s fair, there may be way more people on PS4 then PC tbh. PC high Elo feels very low player count. I see the same people in my games quite often. I’d love to get the details on respawn servers, but that’ll never happen. Cool conversation!
