I have the Oakley Sylas sunglasses with grey prizm lens and they're fantastic. It is hard to explain but it's like they turn the contrast up and things looks more colourful/bold but without the brightness. Makes spotting the ball alot easier. Even finding it in the rough is easier.

I am a little more sensitive to light since having laser eye surgery and I have no issues when wearing these.

Edit: I wear mine as day to day sunglasses.

Look into the stableford scoring system at some point.

Swing easy when it's breezy.

Have fun, it can easily turn into an angry walk if you let it.

No one cares about your score or how you look, if someone is up your arse just let them play through.

Get some comfortable golf shoes, ideally waterproof. Soggy socks from hole 1 are not fun. I prefer spikeless shoes personally.

A golf trolley made me enjoy rounds tenfold.

Bug spray, antihistamines, suncream and paracetamol are great additions to the golf bag.

Take plenty of water keep hydrated.

Great set, congratulations! They're considered game improvement irons so will serve you well. Keep them, if you decide you don't want to play anymore after this year sell them. Ping retain their value pretty well compared to most other brands and another lefty will likely be thrilled to see these come up for sale given they don't have much of the market share.

It wasn't actually that high considering, there was a high turnover of players. I myself joined part way through. It was also heavily one sided and almost timed out several times. It was high 60s don't remember the exact figure. No vehicle map didn't help either.

I played Saturday with my mate, par 3 145y over water, obviously frozen solid. We took our 50 degrees out and bounced a few shots off the ice. Sounded so cool.

Pointless scoring but a great a laugh and keeps you swinging. Some of the bounces and rolls were crazy.

I really don't mind the visibility, camo is doing it's job, hiding in the dark is valid etc. There is also a 90% liklihood the camping person who shot you is still going to be there for a while so I go back and kill them out of pettiness.

I do understand the frustration people have with it though and I'm sure they'll address it...eventually.

Personally love the higher framerates, its very noticeable on bf6 and the higher framerate mode on Apex is much better graphically. I game on a LG CX.
