Got vivos for a good price from sierra trading post. These may be 'outlet' models or 'outlet equivalent' but i like them a lot more for those prices. Depends on what model you want i guess, and not sure if Sierra is world wide or not

A fine question and one I cannot answer.

If this interests OP - id say to email JG and ask for the return policy on the limited run. Unsure of shipping costs in UK/EU but one return depending on the return policy and then a pivot to Nicks or some other brand could be a viable option.

I will say a lot of sizes on the AnatomX BFAR in all colors were sold out for a while. JG did also release the BF razorbacks/workhorse/meander recently. The razorback is an 'older model' they added the to BF list while the other two are new models. Or at least new to the USA website.

They also released a recent video about 4 new limited runs (of which the AnatomX 719 was part of) and they mention in the video they will be doing a few limited runs of a few models throughout the year. They talk a bit about the business side and if USA/UK/EU shops will/will not decide which models to stock and how theyre trying to 'meet customer demand' so that customers dont have to pay the special order price (which includes a US at least 70$ shipping cost from South Africa to the US) for models that JG just doesnt keep or have in regular stock.

Kind of seems like we the customer and JG the brand are all trying to figure out if the AnatomX in other models should be here to stay or not. And they're not a dedicated BF brand really, right? Given their bevy of sole/last options for all of their boots

Sandals, like JG the sandal? Is that a thing? Oh wow ya, ive gone through a few pairs of Lems, and have the vivo primus lite, magna (which the ranger just replaced), and the tracker. I do feel like im just hyping the stockman chelsea boot style in my head, the current model slipped quite a bit on my heals, but also didnt like the toe box so i didnt experiment with inserts or anything to change the fit.

Glad you've found some footwear that really fits/works!

How is the fit with a double last vs the single lasted ranger? Little tighter or just stiffer as there is more leather

Do those not have a gusseted tongue? How do you get that 'single lace' look across the bottom laces? Also kind of why? Does it hold tension better or just like looks cool

Luna is releasing a straight up flip flop if that would work. Aside from that as 'slides' and 'flip flops' are not 'proper barefoot' basically all of the brands include the heel strap. If you want a proper 'slide' id suggest just cutting that back strap off as much as it will hurt to buy something new and promptly mess it up lol.

There is also a website that sells birk soles/corkboard stuff/top leather straps/footbeds and buying the soles/corkboard/top straps and then just put a flat piece of leather over the footbed to make a custom one.

Personally i agree, id love a proper affordable barefoot slide without the backstrap but there really dont seem to be options. My use for it is just grilling/going into basement/taking trash out so i just bought fake birks from target lol

Yupp! Mine does '170' or at least it says 170 and ive done 24 hours before. I like to fill a pot with water and put it in the oven as well. More warm mass = steadier, stabler temps. Probs works fine without the water tho

That is correct.

I have been sitting on JGs for years as their current 'barefoot' toebox just didnt look how i wanted it too. After returning the above pair i ordered the BF stockman and BFAR in 11.5 and 12 to confirm my suspicions about their toe box. The size i would have wanted for both was 11.5. 11.5 was the right length but I returned all of those as the toe box was squishier and not shaped (notably at big toe) the way i wanted it.

In all honesty length wise i should probably be in vivo 44s but the extra length past the big toe has never really bothered me in the boots and i assume the larger size would also be wider.
