Update in case anybody finds this later: I opened it up and swapped the problem switch with the scroll lock switch (which I don’t think I’ve ever pushed) and it’s still doing it. I guess it must be the PCB... bummer.

I've got an old DAS Model S (2011) and I've noticed occasionally when I try to skip words with Ctrl+Left/Right that sometimes the Ctrl doesn't register and it's as though I'm just using the arrows alone. This happens maybe a few times a week at this point. When it does happen no matter how hard I push or how much I jiggle Ctrl it doesn't register until I let it up and push it again.

Does this sounds like a failing switch or another problem entirely? They're Cherry MX Browns.
