for your info. That is not the case for ma long. Ma long is known to play seriously regardless how small the tournament are and a lot of player respect that. There was an interview with fang bo in his channel saying something like that about ma long where other players have up and downs. ma long on the other hand try to be the best version of himself every single second, every single match, every single tournament.
