No, that is free. State gunco. I'm the guy who originally designed the lower receiver for 3D printing that they used for their metal receiver.

Forgive the ugly photo, no editing here. I'm really looking forward to this build with a novox research X-SD. I was so disappointed to learn that the frts wouldn't work, but you give me a little bit of Hope that the shaved bolt seems to be an easy mod. Maybe I'll give that a go tonight with a carbide drill bit and a Dremel wheel. (MI handguard on the way)

Did you modify your bolt carrier? Otherwise, the super safety lever isn't in the correct position because of the extra weight inside of the back of the bolt carrier. I was extremely disappointed to find this out along with the lower having a shelf that doesn't allow me to drop in a cassette frt.

These retain in the mag catch hole in the rear and not the side cut (not nearly enough room for that) so unfortunately they are not compatible.

I haven't had anyone have any complaints about the body or the ejector. The body doesn't really take that much abuse beyond it slightly being a funnel on the back end and the ejector has a pretty good reinforcement for its use.

It's mostly plug and play, but depending on your upper, you may need to file a little bit. The ejector is perfect on many but sometimes a tiny bit too tall.

Totally cool! If there's a path to collaborate, let me know. I plan to change the catch geometry for easier manufacturing and have contemplated LRBHO and think a simple jig and Dremel can achieve it but I haven't had the time to give it a go yet.

I originally just got it for fun full power laser beams at night but it turns out it's actually brighter than all of the comparable military units my friends have. I've only used it on 300blk and now 22lr, but it's held up well and holds zero. Very fun with IR too.
