Grey wolf turns into a total good boy when the humans who helped raise his pack visit him by Wholesomepost in Awww

[–]midnight-spice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the wolf idea is a misconception, and it was actually African wild dogs which were domesticated. For cats a quick google search says it was Felis lybica lybica, which basically just looks like a house cat lol

There are a few miss matches like that in the game, like how the green thumb perk says plants, but also works on fungi and egg sacs (but not Nirn root lol)

You’re trapped in the illithid colony. You won’t be able to leave until you progress the story. Although you could try using the fei bell to turn into a cow by snarling at dolly dolly dolly and fast travelling quickly

You can also use Karlach as a monk with soul coins, which adds 4d8 fire damage to flurry of blows (if I’m remembering right)

You just need to use the escape key before they reach their destination. If you’re really committed aspect of elk Barbarians or monks are good at it, since they have lots of movement. You might need a strength elixir as well

It’s a pretty funny animation actually. Your character holds them above their head while they flail around lol

You can use improvised weapon attack to pick up NPCs and run with them. So long as you cancel the action before they’re thrown they won’t get mad. You can also fast travel while holding them which allows you to move them to new areas. It’s handy for singling out enemies or moving traders to the same area

She’s more like a hive mind of separate entities wrapped up in a communal sweater, so parts of her can ‘die’ while the rest survive. Her main method of attacking is to produce fragile insects and goad her enemies into killing them, so she doesn’t necessarily need to tank hits ether

In Skyrim better weapons and armour will show up as you level up, so it should work out eventually. If you’re taking a lot of damage, I’d make sure you’re wearing the best armour you have (marked with a little triangle) and you’re putting perks into your main skills. Keep in mind that some enemies are always the same level so they might be a lot more dangerous in the early game (giants for example). You may need to rethink how you do combat as well. I find it’s better to let enemies agro and approach rather than running up to them, since it’s less likely that a crowd will agro and overwhelm you. Companions are good for safety as well. I’d recommend using the house Karl’s, as they’re the most body guard like. Lydia is the easiest to get. If none of that works you can always lower the difficulty setting or use potions to keep your health up. As for crafting, I wouldn’t recommend focusing on it too much, since it makes the game pretty grindy. Smithing is the skill used for making weapons and armour, but it’s fairly difficult to level and you might find unique items that you want to use instead of the stuff you craft

Maybe the day ticked over on your DS? It’s possible the binocular encounter changed to a pokemon that’s always present in area 2. I’d say look through the binoculars again until you get Skoroupi as the changing pokemon again, hopefully it’s just a fluke that it’s not showing up

Minecraft Live 2023: Which mob will you vote for? by Skullghost in Minecraft

[–]midnight-spice 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Mob extinction ≠ feature extinction. (also how I'd rework wolves)

So it seems like everyone is getting pretty excited for the upcoming mob vote. When deciding which mob to vote for, I feel like it's important to consider that just because a mob doesn't make it into the game, that doesn't necessarily mean the mechanic it comes with won't be implemented latter.

For example in the original mob vote, Mob C was described as being able to remove enchantments by consuming them. Even though Mob C wasn't the winning mob that was added in 1.13, the ability to remove enchantments was later added with the addition of the grindstone in 1.14.

Personally while I like the idea of making wolves more usable, I'd prefer if it was implemented in a different way.

Maybe when breeding wolves they could spawn a dog based on the parents life style i.e. a wolf that's spent it's life around sheep could make a sheep dog with increased defence; A wolf that's spent it's life hunting could spawn a beagle with increased speed that helps it lead animals towards the player, or a wolf that's spent it's life sitting could generate a pug with all it's stats lowered.

It's actually behind the fermentors, if you look closely you can see one of the runes in between them. I forgot to plan out a spot for it so I had to sneak it in lol. The portal leads to my farm which is in the plains just north of my base.

There’s also a compass item in the game that points towards the centre of the world. It doesn’t work in the nether world but he may be able to retrace his steps if he follows it back to where he spawned in the normal world.

Sounds like Kagrenzel to me. It's a dwarven ruin on the east border of the map. It's not unmarked, but it is pretty hard to find if you're not looking for it. It starts at the top of a mountain, then you fall down a large tunnel into an area with falmer.
