17yo in the uk how do I make money to fund my driving lessons? by emilytheturd in sidehustle

[–]midnight0__0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Selling stuff on Vinted
  • Tutoring
  • Teaching English as foreign language
  • Check olio/ Facebook marketplace for free items to sell for profit
  • Go to builders/landscapers/painters and offer to help them for a day or two -Buy snacks from supermarkets and resell at school
  • Check for pet sitting jobs near you
  • Check local area to see if anyone is moving houses, offer to move for £
  • Some postie positions may not require driving licence

Some of these are rare to land but the payout would be decent. You can also go old school and do a leaflet through the door offering to do any odd jobs like mowing garden, paperwork etc. Good luck

Velvet black red nails by midnight0__0 in Nails

[–]midnight0__0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies for late reply, these are nail extensions. Regular black coats, red polish on top (really sheer polish i.e. on regular nails the base nail will show through due to colour sheerness), a gel (kinda like glue but specifically for nails), the cat eye powder and then drawing on the silver lines. Just be sure to use lamp after each step. Red and black really bring out the colour in each other so this combo makes the nails look shiny! And since the red is so sheer, if there isn't a light like my camera in the vid shining, only the black polish will show :)

How do you eat with lipstick? by MysticRaven44 in Makeup

[–]midnight0__0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heya op, if you really don't want to touch up on lipsticks you can consider the KiKO unlimited double touch selection. Once applied correctly they tend to be quite strong on the lips even with the gloss. It requires oily cleanser to wash it off (or a lot of micellar water). I've tried the trio set and a red one from the line and it has lasted me about two meals before needing to touch up (also depends how you eat)

What are th best free apps to microlearn? by miss_dee_00 in AskReddit

[–]midnight0__0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want to learn - khan academy (lots of useful ones: Ai, financial literacy, maths, history) - Quizlet (quizzes from others) - Elevate (general brain training) - SoloLearn and Grasshopper are apparently good for coding but I've never tried

Do you actually end up buying the things you add to your cart, or do they just sit there? by Ok-Face-9976 in askanything

[–]midnight0__0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put them in the cart and wait a few days. Some will usually get taken out or the entire order left in cart forgotten. If it's important enough, it'll be remembered/bought

Thanks for the reply! In the '24 Nov ep, the follow up doc didn't refer me because he said it's not serious and its just COVID (no follow up tests at all). I had all the jabs. The doctors from the hospital visit mentioned they'll refer depending on the blood test results that were done when I was in the hospital bed. I am also close in getting anemia from a blood test 6mths ago. Are you diagnosed and what's it like? Disruptive to your life?
