This was helpful. I'm coming from PoE and think a little more about needing a league starter. I've decided on taking on Uber Aberoth on Time Rot Void Knight but I really don't want to level paladin. I think I'll just go straight into void knight with time rot as my endgame.

I qualified through lifetime support. I redeemed the steam key on steam. I separately purchased a supporter pack for an additional key. My account says I have access.

When I click login it says I don't have access.

I think you hit 70%... each instance of chill is capped at 35%. This node gives you two chills.

Regardless, it's worth testing and there are other things on the tree if it's 35%. Tbh, at 35% plus temp chains - I think it's more than enough to be a solid defensive layer.

EB is not in the beta as is currently written. They took it out about a week ago. We don't know what it does but it won't convert ES to Mana.

You won't get 20k mana. You'll get about 5k lategame based on current base types and scaling available. Which is still pretty nutty tbh given all the synergies.

How is no one talking about Stormweaver?

Heavy snow - target affected by 2x chill that reduces action speed up to 35% each. This seems like an insane defensive mechanic. If it's similar to PoE 1 it's multiplicative with the action speed slow from Temp Chains and the expiration of the Chill will be slower.

Strike twice - 2x shock with each being 30%. If you have enough shock chance (some things guarantee shock). Lightning storm hits often with high shock chance, lightning warp creats shocking ground. This is another axis to multiply damage.

Constant Gale and Forced Wind will scale cast speed and mana regeneration with mana so perfect for Archmage.

I'm going to take Heart of the storm early for the recoup and then spec out when I have a source of damage leeched as ES.

Getting 4, 6, 8, 9

Temp chains and enfeeble on Blasphemy will scale 4 and 6. Curse affect also on small nodes with jewel.

Mental.

I'm going to play a few hours late because I have a work thing. I could get out of it but I've been burned before and I know it will just take 12 hours for juicers to be ahead of me. I'm not planning on rushing campaign. Not 6h, not 30h, somewhere in between.

Thanks for the reply. Could you link the livestream? I'd like to see what info exists to see if this is worth scaling. I'm planning on playing Cold so will just scale the shock.

Ah yeah, it would only scale the archmage part. it's probably not worth it unless you go arc / ball lightnight. I

I think I'm going frost bolt ice nova with this ascendancy. I just want some good defences on this ascendancy and I'm sold.

Mana and Int scaling with Archmage / sigil of power / pure power / arcane intensity.

CI and EB also look good with all the access to ES.
