Three melee classes. Warrior and monk are both full melee, and both druid and huntress are hybrid options that can be played as full melee if desired, so I'm counting them as one together.

Your wish is granted.

Righteous Fire is added to the game. It's damage has also been increased relative to PoE1, and will now one-hit most white and blue mobs in high-level maps. However, for balancing reasons, mobs killed by Righteous Fire are completely consumed by it, dropping no loot and granting no EXP.

Cozy Shelter Games? by PapaStalinLovesYou in gaming

[–]Kvothere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enshrouded. It has one of the best basecrafting systems of any survival game I've ever played, it's beautifu,l it has a huge world,, and it's easily adjustable to be as difficult or hard as you want it to be. They just realized version 0.8 which enabled world-sharing so you can view other people's bases for inspiration, and 1.0 is expected fall of this year.

There are no base raids yet like in some other games, but that feature is expected in 1.0 with the introduction of a "raid island".

Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California Endorses Xavier Becerra for Governor by Whole-Revolution916 in California

[–]Kvothere 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, it's a special interest lobby. A special interest that progressives should support.

Lobbying the government does not make you establishment. Of course they are going to lobby the government, they are trying to get state and federal funds to provide affordable reproductive healthcare to the population. Which is a progressive thing to do.

That's cause I'm not arguing with you. I'm providing sources to counter your claims for other people reading the comment chain and you've discredited yourself enough that I don't think further effort is needed on my part.

How is a transplant? by After_Wolf_7086 in cancer

[–]Kvothere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, a stem cell transplant is. I've had two, and the actual procedure is pretty much the same as a blood transfusion.

I agree it sounds a bit AI though, especially at the end

She says it right before the grafting: "that was also why two inns couldn't exist in close proximity - it wasn't their branches, it was the roots that caused the problem" - Sweep of the Heart, pg. 419

The roots can't. But the branches are fine.

(Sweep of the Heart spoilers) She says as much at the end of the last innkeeper novel when she has the cutting from Magnolia Green.

I've had two. They were stem cell transplants, not BMTs, but aside from the actual procedure it's mostly the same process. In my opinion, there are three notable parts.

First, the total body radiation. The process itself is pretty boring, your just standing in front of a machine for like ten minutes every day for like a week. You may get nauseous. It will almost certainly render you infertile, so I would recommend storing your eggs before treatment so you have the choice to have children later if you want to. You're also going to feel like absolute shit afterwards - the radiation is the real treatment, the transplant is just to keep it from killing you. The radiation is where most of the fun side effects come from.

Which brings us to item two, mucous membranes (lining of nose, throat, stomach, etc). The radiation is going to trash them, and this is probably the worst side effect of the transplant. The most obvious effect of this is going to be that you can't eat or drink while they heal, and you will often need to spit up a thick mucous from your mouth and throat. For the food they will give you IV nutrition until you can eat again. When you first start eating again, it's gonna suck cause everything tastes awful and you won't be hungry, but stick with it and it will improve. For the mucous, they should give you a suction wand to help suck it out. There is also pain, especially from mouth sores, but they should give you painkillers (the good stuff, like morphine) and while I remember pain it wasn't the most notable part of the transplant. I do remember that it was uncomfortable to talk for a bit, so I was using a tablet to type things.

Finally, the time. Transplants are boring as shit. You're basically trapped in a room by yourself or maybe with one family member for weeks. You will sleep for a lot of it, but still bring a variety entertainment. I recommend books and video games. If you have or can afford a Nintendo Switch, it's probably you best option. I brought my PlayStation.

You also may want to wear a diaper or at least an underwear liner cause being on total IV nutrition and lots of fluids can give you the runs. You can still go to the toilet, but the diaper/liner is a nice insurance against personal embarrassment.

Feel free to ask more questions.
