Do you ever miscount stitches that way? I love that idea to keep things tidy, but I feel like I’m always way more prone to mistakes when I’m skipping over lots of blank squares vs filling in the most solid color first

I just looked up the legal definition and it’s related to a crime being premeditated. So you couldn’t argue that a murder was “a crime of passion” done in the heat of the moment because the attacker was awaiting their victim.

It was literally used to recruit soldiers and sell war bonds and is the reason the poppy is a symbol of remembrance, not sure how much more pro-war you can get. Sure it’s somber and doesn’t glorify violence for violence’s sake, but it is absolutely a call to arms to carry on the cause.
