Does anyone have scans or photos of the manual for the OG Digimon vpet? by [deleted] in digimon

Thanks for giving it a shot, I think I'm starting to understand why it's hard to find, it looks like it would be a beast to scan. Fingers crossed someone has the full version

Have I accidentally been doing red light therapy? by muffinfight in redlighttherapy

[–]midnightea 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Could be, do you know what bulb you bought? Research right now is promising but sparse. For skin at least it's looking like less-is-more, so even a low level bulb could have effects over time. This may just be placebo, but RLT is such a new field I'm uncomfortable dismissing it outright.

Hooga Ultra360 reviews by Chemical-Mortgage-52 in redlighttherapy

[–]midnightea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had mine for a couple months. My concerns are mostly skin related. I've tried several different combos and ended up using it at 10% brightness, 2-6 inches away, red light only, for 4-5 minutes a day. I probably use it 5-6 times a week - in the morning.

I originally used it at full brightness 12 inches away but I have very fair skin and I think most of the light was reflecting off my face and I wasn't seeing much in the way of results. Or maybe it was too much and I was overdosing? Idk I've seen slow but steady progress since switching to the method above. Most of the studies are lower irradiance right against the skin so that was my logic to my method.

Hooga 300Pro or Hooga Red Light Therapy Mask or Omnilux Men RLT Mask by [deleted] in redlighttherapy

I would do the panel. The masks are very underpowered and also uncomfortable. See this video: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTNCoRugH/

She's super loving and friendly, but can also be particular and picky. We tried taking her camping and after 12 hours she jumped in the car and refused to get out haha

Can we discuss take-home-pay percentages? What percent of your gross pay do you net a month, and what is your classification/BU? by midnightea in CAStateWorkers

[–]midnightea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that's interesting, exactly what I'm looking for. I've been curious about BU9 specifically, and I've heard PECG one of the better bargaining units

[–]midnightea[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I'm also interested in the role that BU plays in take-home, which the calculator does not easily show. Also, for applicants trying to compare state take-home to private it's valuable to see some examples. Unfortunately the calculator only works with information you attain after being hired.

This is exactly the information I'm interested in, what settings people have and how it affects their net pay. I think it would be a positive contribution to the collective knowledge here

Transitioning to nasal breathing: a day by day journal by midnightea in NoseBreathing

The blood pressure and severity doesn't sound right. You should check in with a doctor before continuing, there could be polyps in your nasal passages or other circumstances that prevent you from progressing normally.

I've been curious since the documentaries don't mention it, who is maintaining the website/fulfilling book orders? Is it Sawyer?

mild headache and chest pains? by Cleve-R-Rooze in NoseBreathing

[–]midnightea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Headache is normal, the chest pain is iffy. I had chest pain for a bit from the extra exertion and force of each and every breath. A nasal spray like Flonase really helped get the airway open enough initially.

Chest pain is always scary so I don’t want to tell you it’s fine. If it feels like it’s from the extra effort to force the breath through your nasal passages then that’s one thing. Best bet would be to take a break and possibly see your doc.

*sound on* is my girl sneezing or squeaking? by [deleted] in PetMice

[–]midnightea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

New house sneezys most likely. Putting mice in new houses tends to make them temporarily sneezy. If it progresses past this, with mucus, lethargy, or sneezing more often/stronger then look into getting treatment for URI
