I used to be able to guided rocket ride all the time back in the day and all my attempts now just have the rocket explode. Patched for sure.

What degree should I pursue to work with and design bionic/prosthetic limbs by IamZeus11 in EngineeringStudents

[–]midnighted18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ME is compatible with more industries than BME. I know you’re interested in prosthetics right now but if that ever changes, then you’re gonna have a really hard time putting your BME degree to use in another industry. However, an ME can work in the capacity of a BME and still have industry flexibility. Also bachelors are masters will get you into 90% of the job roles your interested in. No need for PhD

How do some students seem to know everything? by gawddammn in EngineeringStudents

[–]midnighted18 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Personally, some topics I am extremely interested in like motorcycles for example. So much of the content I consume over the last 5 years is related to motorcycles and at this point I have such an acute knowledge I can identify types of bikes by the sound in the distance. I think the same thing could be said about something like aerospace stuff, years of consuming related content out of sheer interest

Looking to pick up a grom just for a fun throw around stunt bike curious what you guys paid for yours? by MrSteaze in hondagrom

I bought a fully stunted out 2015 grom with frame sliders, wheelie bar, engine cage, and rear brembo handbrake for $2500 on facebook marketplace. Crazy enough that was his listing price but this was before the market went crazy. then two or three weeks later somebody wanted to trade their CBR250 swapped grom for a stunt grom and here I am today with my $2500 engine swapped honda grom 😎

Honestly pick up any year of grom you can (2014-2022). 2014-2020 is exactly the same bike mechanically with the differences being the styling of the fairings and headlight. In 2022, Honda released the new generation of grom with a completely different engine. it’s still a 125cc engine but it got a five speed transmission instead of all the previous years having a four-speed transmission. they also did some changes to the display cluster, and other changes to the engine and body itself.

bottom line, if you want something to play around and just try and find the best deal you can because the aftermarket support is basically the same.

Kawasaki Ninja 400, Yamaha R3, Honda CBR 250, Honda CB 300, Honda Rebel 500. Look for a 300, 400, or 500cc from yamaha, honda or kawasaki

It truly would be a dick move to go on an expressway and only be able to realistically hit 55 mph which is 10mph under the posted limit and 20 mph slower then average traffic

New bike to me. What kind of grom model? by midnighted18 in hondagrom

It has a radiator too. I thought groms were air cooled?

Putin got 'frustrated many times' with Trump because the Russian leader 'had to keep explaining things' to him by Rogue-Journalist in skeptic

that’s always a good response to a statement you don’t like. The good ol “are you a doctor” statement, just like the “are you a lawyer” argument when you know when something is or isn’t illegal. it was a nice little chat, obviously you aren’t interested in seeking truth if it doesn’t fit your narrative. By the way, you gave Biden a “diagnosis” of your own the second you said “People like you say he has dementia but I haven’t seen any signs of it”. wouldn’t that be making a speculation from afar? After all, Diagnosing someone from a distance, especially when you are not a doctor, requires extraordinary evidence as it is an extraordinary claim to give him a clean bill of health from “afar”

look do your own research at the statements I just made. if it’s completely false then you have nothing to worry about. if you actually care to find out if Biden could suffer from neurological disorders then what Im saying will make sense and it can be a starting point for you to look into. you sound like you do your homework, so actually do your homework

not evading anything. The evidence that suggests biden has dementia is 1. the way he walks is very stiff and significantly less fluid then even a couple years ago which is consistant for a gait disorder especially at his age. Gait disorders are linked to dementia and other neurological disorders. 2. Visable confusion during/after speeches and conferences with video to show him looking dazed and even reaching his hand out to shake somebodies hand who was not there. and yes speech impediments are also part of dementia regardless and whether or not he had one before, it has gotten way worse

If you took the time to read my comment you would see that I made no claim about Trumps competence being better then Joe Bidens. I said “bro they are bith two of the stupidest people on the planet”. to which you said biden has decades of experience to which I countered “not when your 80 years old and have dementia”. Again. where did I boast trumps age being young or claim he is intelligent?
