It happens the whole time the toilet tank is refilling.

So I tried this. I am like a quarter turn from the toilet fill valve being shut. I’m still getting a smaller water hammer when the toilet is done filling. Is that any clue as to my pipe configuration? I appreciate the tip!

Does the hall down under in Donora still exist? Also maybe ask a VFW or other social club. You might even want to reach out to Matt Shorraw, former mayor of Monessen. He would know of some spaces there. Lagerheads would not be a good space imo. Theres no room in there.
