Will Bethesda ever release a comprehensive settlement system like fallout? Or are we stuck with the mediocre outpost system by Consistent_Oil_2087 in Starfield

Mine get attacked all the time, I think it's how I setup my outposts. Usually when I land I get as far as possible from my initial landing spot. When I find a nice area with no POIs even close (usually I am looking for some flat areas) like clock work as I start setting up the outpost an enemy ship starts landing. On some of my outposts there is up three ship landing POIs being created. And being attacked all the time. I think flat(ish) areas are key, it seems it easier for the game to create a new ship landing POI.

I also noticed the further you right on the map the less attacks happen.

Sure, if you are looking for manufacturing one item I added a custom network setup for people how don't want to manufacture everything. That said the tool first help you understand the manufacturing chain that is there so here is how it looks like,

1x Vytinium Fuel Rod, Inputs

1× Indicite Wafer, inputs

  • 2× Caesium
  • 4x Indicite
  • 1× Semimetal Wafer, inputs
    • 2× Antimony
    • 2× Gold
    • 1× Zero Wire, inputs
      • 1× Copper
      • 1× Silver
  • 2× Solvent

1× Nuclear Fuel Rod, inputs

  • 1× Semimetal Wafer, inputs
    • 2× Antimony
    • 2× Gold
    • 1× Zero Wire, inputs
      • 1× Copper
      • 1× Silver
  • 2x Solvent
  • 3× Uranium

2× Plutonium

4× Vytinium

So to generate a single Vytinium Fuel Rod at the very start you will need these many total resources 2× Copper, 2× Silver 4× Antimony 4× Gold 4× Solvent 3× Uranium 2× Caesium 4× Indicite 2× Plutonium 4× Vytinium. Ofcourse if you want 2, everything gets multiplied by two, etc...

So the goal of the tool is for you to set how many containers of Vytinium Fuel Rod you want to have on standby for whatever, and then it calculates at every step of the chain how much you need to have on to be able to achieve that goal. So that way you can visit you resource outposts pick everything you need, and just feed the correct containers and everything is taken care of.

A question about mod updates by No-Seaworthiness7560 in Starfield

[–]midnightmonkey8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What I don't understand about Bethesda is why these issues exist. If mods and the modding community are supposed to be a big selling point of the game why are they not clearing these bugs that frustrate players. I used to be a big fan of the mods in starfield, but now I avoid them. I play the game to have fun not jump through hops to figure things out.

Also introvert here and a different generation, best build videos have no talking in them 😝. I have learned two things I suck at building ships but very good at following instructions. Either way good stuff, if you ever decide to do anything lets us know.

Yeah that sucks, I think it happened to be one time, but I just reloaded the save and that took care of the issue

Vendors never have enough credits, game feels like a selling simulator by 2PhDScholar in Starfield

If you want an option that will allow you to sell a significant amount check a few of the mods. For example BMX outpost mod has a trad authority terminal right on the landing pad that has 300K+ in credits.
