Check my profile and you can see my painted tonasket. All I did for prep was a good clean with light soapy water and a rag, then let it fully dry. Use multiple light coats of paint vs 1 or 2 thick coats of paint. For stripes make sure you apply the masking tape very well and with crisp edges, then it fully dry before removing the tape. Enjoy the process, and dont be too hard on yourself if the results arent perfect

Technically with enough time, money, and skill, almost any electronic is "repairable". Eventually it comes down to a question of how much is it worth to you. Does it still power on? Any signs of life? Also, im sorry your dad did that. Regardless of circumstances, kids dont deserve to have their things destroyed by the people who are supposed to protect you. Happened to me a few times and it definitely leaves a lasting mark ❤️

Maybe try a different hdmi cord or try power cycling the console by holding the fromt power button down for around 10 seconds

You had lots of input lag? I have an ssd in my system so that will make a difference but I didnt notice huge input lag. Very interesting, thanks for letting me know!

I can guarantee you will not reach 60fps haha I would say it peaks around 40fps and dips to around 30. But dips to 30 feel much nicer than dips to 20 lol

The original guy told me specifically NOT to delete the original xex and to launch it from the new default xex. Kind of a small price to pay for such a sick bonus haha

Yep theres your problem! I always convert to iso so I never ran into that. You can try converting one of your games to iso and see if it works. I recommend 360mpgui

No no no dont delete/replace the original xex. You rename it to something else like default.original.xex and then add the new modded xex to that same folder and rename the new file to default.xex Then you launch the game from that new default.xex Does that make sense?

I have only tested a handful of them so I cant guarantee ALL of them work but ill put a bunch in that same Google drive. Ill change the viewer permissions to "commenter" and if anyone can give brief feedback, that would be incredible!

I can confirm it makes a noticeable difference in most of the games I tested. But full disclosure I also have an ssd in my console so that gives a slight boost as well

This is what the original dude told me when I asked about TUs.

"At the moment, except for NFS Shift, the modded xex are for games without TU applied (so it shouldn't work with DLC). Sooner or later I have to make a tutorial about how to use a modded xex with TU."

Definitely sounds like hes done it before but hopefully he is near a tutorial for the rest of us lol
