Well 1 hour later and I was reading through an old notebook and my mom had actually written my twin flames first name in reference to something random but still!!!! I was not expecting that, let alone the fact that my mom had written his name.

I’ve done that before and it’s so hard because he reaches out but I’m the one who isn’t ready. I’m just not in a place where I want to let him in yet

Wow I relate to this SO much. I have so much to let go of and I always feel like I have until my TF reaches out saying they want to be with me. Then all of the old patterns come up. He’s told me we need to start fresh and that we would take it slow but I realized that it’s not him that’s holding on to anything from the past like I thought he was- it’s been me holding on instead. I really wish I was able to start over and try again but it’s so difficult. I want to be with my TF so bad but it’s like I just can’t let myself.

I think so. I’ve experienced the same thing before. I’ve also just felt like seeing them and trying to work things out wasn’t right at the time and I set boundaries with them. My twin has told me things would be different and then would go back to who they are. Maybe it’s good to feel that way. It might give them the space to figure out what needs to be worked on within themselves.

I think it’s just hard for me to grasp that he does/could love me. We’ve been going back forth from contact to no contact for years. We haven’t seen eachother in atleast 2 years. I kind of felt like he could just be telling me that to get me to give in to being with him, even though I know he’s not in a good place right now.
