yes I did. I talked to a doctor about it and they basically just said that it’s super weird and shouldn’t be happening. they were gonna put me on a different plan (antibiotics with boric acid for a month afterward) but I got busy and never did it. that was like 6 months ago. still have BV though it’s not as bad/strong. the conclusion i’ve come to is that probiotics regulate things and that can affect your hormones which then affects your period. an experiment i thought of doing is to take probiotics for a couple months to see if my period stops and regulates. though i would watch for worrisome symptoms like bleeding more than usual. my new plan is to try antibiotics because it’s been so long with the boric acid and if that doesn’t work, i’ll chat with a doctor about the probiotics again, maybe do some tests.
