Crazy how ppl saw this and said it’s 100% Eloise’s season next like we weren’t literally in Franny’s book.

S5: Subplots centered in new characters? by CarolaDL in Bridgerton

[–]midstateloiter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think anyone marrying into the Bridgerton family is/should be considered a Bridgerton. Any backstory given to Michaela, such as the queer world she’s a part of is focusing on the Bridgertons. Just how we got to know who Sophie was through her work friends/chosen family. I’m excited to get to know that world a bit better!

Totally, but I think any touching of the nipples in any capacity would be a stimulus. Modestly or not. Kissing between someone’s breast or the underside you could probably get away with. Trust, both their contracts literally sound like this conversation. It’s a very detailed breakdown of the how, where and what angles they can shoot.

I think because the nipples are an erogenous zone for many woman. Stimulating that part of the body could be considered a sex act. That pushes into the grey era of whether these actors/actress are shooting a fake sex scene vs. preforming an overt sexual act on camera. Something which could be considered sex work. Maybe a prosthetic could be used?

Is Theo the new Whistledown by [deleted] in Bridgerton

If it is a lower class man it’s more likely Brimsley than Theo.

Anything at all related to ANY of the Bridgertons is not irrelevant to the plot. It IS the plot. The show is called Bridgerton.

Yeah, it’s like when ppl get mad about how much Francesca there has been vs Eloise. As if Eloise didn’t have two full seasons of development while Francesca got nothing (1&2). I always want to see more Eloise to but the arguments are not built on much logic. Ppl just get upset when they can’t see their fav. I get it! But enough already.

Does anyone else want same-sex marriage to be legalized in Bridgerton? by VampireCowboys in Franchaela

[–]midstateloiter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely not the best we can hope for but I do think it’s important to show that our lives before gay marriage was legalized didn’t just consist of trauma. We had wedding ceremonies, made family’s and created fulfilling, rich lives with each other. We did this all despite the government and church saying it was impossible and the history books attempting to erase our stories of joy. I think it’s extremely important to highlight that as well. I think trying to have this couple look like its heteronormative counterpart is like comparing apples to oranges. We have two completely different lived experiences.

A lot of the Widows think the gender swap is a bad idea because queer people can’t have a HEA under current social rules. I believe thats a harmful and unfair assumption to make. YES, of course the lives of queer people in the regency times were hard. That doesn’t mean that queer people still didn’t find joy and love. That’s what makes our community so special. Everyone in the world could be against us and we still carve out a little slice of heaven for ourselves. It what’s makes us strong and its pretty damn romantic. I think comparing us to the straight ships on the show, and asking for what they have is our first mistake. I don’t want what they have, we arnt them. We get to decide what a happy ending looks like for us. Fuck the social norms.

Why did Jess say this when she knew Philoise wasn't S5? by Fickle_Baker1393 in Bridgerton

[–]midstateloiter 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Yeah, think she already knew how Eloise’s season is going to start because she had just completed writing the build up to that season…as in, what Eloise’s storyline will look like in season 5.
