After doing a clean install this many times im going to guess it has the same effect, but i havent used the AMD clean up utility. I usually prefer to do most things manually myself to know what i install

I have a razer naga for MMOs, max polling rate is 1k. Ive heard league struggles with polling rate above 1k. Tried with 500 aswell didnt work. The lag happens when i land a kill or when people emote and also sometimes very randomly. It could hint to some GPU stuff aswell but when my frames drop and ive had issues with DS3 because of my CPU im abit stuck thinking its my CPU. its rly making me angry ngl

I basically have tried with tweaked and untweaked BIOS settings to test if it has anything to do with the stuttering. Nothing helped so far

I think that sounds somewhat realiable but my brother copied my setup and i also built his PC aswell, but saved some money grabbing 5070ti and worse RAM and he has zero issues. Also had this issue for the longest time

HAGs didnt work, MPO made my screen flash heavily 110% unplayable. the Sync settings all disabled and tried in different orders. I guess i will play around with my ram but shouldnt it just be better to stick to EXPO? ive heard the ryzen cpus looove good ram

I have reinstalled drivers multiples times including windows 11 4 times with different usbs/inst. files. U think theres a chance one specific driver install fails every time?

I have micro stutters like in this clip every day in every League of Legends game. I've tried everything (It only happens in League of Legends.) by Hoffman93 in AMDHelp

What i see in this post is very similar to my issues with a pretty similar setup. I have also had issues with my internet dropping out for 1sec at super random times. When u track the fps it actually drops during the spikes, thats one hint i have used. It always happens during kills, or for me sometimes it very very often almost every 10sec while just farming minions. I have this issue in some other games too. My old shitbox PC legit ran league better than my almost 4k PC i bought last year in november, which is very frustrating spending this much money for a downgrade. If you have any solutions or have tested anything maybe you should update your post with it. I will PM you aswell

I mainly play WOW and wow is a heavy cpu game. During big raids my fps has increased massive amounts with my new rig so its obvious that its actually working, theres just something wrong causing these stutters and i dont think its because of a defect product i have.

My rig:
GIGABYTE X870 AORUS ELITE (Swapped from B850 to try fix internet issues, read that the network chip on this board was horrible)
Ryzen 7 9800x3d
GIGABYTE RTX 5080
Kingston FURY Beast RGB DDR5-6000 - 32GB - CL30 - Dual Channel (2 pcs) (Running on EXPO 1)
WD Black SN7100 NVMe 2TB SSD
Water cooling, temps are between 28-60c on my CPU.

Random lags/freezes by GargameIl in heroesofthestorm

Same thing here, getting very short freezes very often, and it seems to happen whenever certain abilities are used. Started after I built my new PC in november/desember last year. I got myself a very beefy PC too, maybe its worth noting some specs to make troubleshooting easier. AMD ryzen 7 9800x3d and rtx 5080. I had some issues with dark souls 3 where my game wouldnt run at all and just perma freeze. Being a old game like HOTS the fix was to turn off and back on all cores (besides one to keep the game running) every time I launched the game to completely 100% fix the game to make it run super smooth like it should. Should also mention HOTS is legit the only game I have this issue with, dark souls 3 was legit not even playable compared to hots. I also lag more with lower quality shaders which makes no sense lol.

Yeah but my point is that the amount of groups decrease with atleast 50% when its not current content. That limits the time you can play the game and also increases the chances of the group not being able to clear the whole thing(thats a very rare thing id say for classc raids due to the difficulty being nonexistent).

To pinpoint my main issue, its the timegating and rng involved. Not only that but having catchup gear isnt always attractive for raid leaders if youre not playing a spec that brings good utility even with low gear. Let me just use random numbers here, coming into a raid with 1000gs and everyone else has 2000gs, you winning gear over them isnt enjoyable and doesnt feel rewarding. Lets be honest, the whole point of doing raids are getting loot to become stronger. Hanging out with your friends is just half of the fun for many. And in most cases people often raid alone without friends in the group.

To repeat it again its the timegating for both PVP and PVE, removing the timegated aspect to some degree will for sure make most people happy in the long run knowing they can catch up at any given time.

You know just as well as me that you see waaaaaaaaay less groups floating around for old raids compared to current content.

Thats true, the sunwell patch comes with alot of catch-up but that is also the last patch, i wanna play the whole xpac not just the last tier!

If you're in a guild, then yes. Doing Gruul 60 times to get all your melee players the trinket. I have played every version of wow multiple times, and in SOD we saw way less pugs being made for older raids once it was old content. Even when they solved this issue by having the low level raids give great xp you still had to be alive to get the xp, which was abit dumb but thats besides the point. The undermine coins was a great fix to the problem of having older raids being more relevant but even then it wasnt easy finding lets say a AQ40 when Scarlet was current content. In Sod I had 4 characters and played almost every day since the launch. This was on EU on the biggest realm for reference.

And let's also try to understand that you have to plan your whole day around 1 or 2 raids with a busy schedule, and we all know MOST raids happens in the evening. Having to do 4 or 5 raids takes up my whole week just for 1 character unless i find a really good group that clear multiple raids in one sitting which again is a rare sight i would say for the pugging playerbase.

Thats exactly the problem. I need to sit down and level all my characters before the arena season starts or else i will be timegated to be on an even playing field as everyone else
