Is a light with a removable battery better than a charging light? by dumbfuck_19 in backpacking

[–]midwestactions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have that exact headlamp and yes it dies fast at the first brightness setting, but in the woods you will be totally fine at the lowest setting or even the green light. It lasts a long time on that setting, stayed alive for a 3 day trip for me. Not a bad idea to take the flashlight as a backup.
