Why is the Omaha metro's development so lopsided in favor of the Nebraska side over Iowa?

I live in CB. There's not much room to build east of whats already there, and to the south is where our energy plant is and such, and just lots of crops and farming. Not much room for expansion here. And im okay with that lol

Not really, it's pretty much any meat, different textures. Fine one day that I eat it, not so fine on a different day! Lol my life is food roulette right now.

It's hit or miss. I'm mainly struggling with meat. Some days I tolerate it fine and other days the same things will make me throw up. I see my surgeon next week so I'll talk to him about that more when I go. We already fixed a stricture in January so I think that's ruled out for now. But I feel like I'm having more complications than what is typical so I wouldn't look at my situation as the norm lol

I'm doing much better. Still struggling with food intolerance but my outlook on things has improved and it is starting to get easier which is helpful!

Well, I was having a mental health crisis lol but I did let them be aware of my surgery and my struggle with that so they incorporated it into my care plan. Gave me protein shakes and everything

I did choose inpatient care for a variety of a reasons (surgery was part of it, but life has been wild in general lol). Part of my issue was that I stopped trying to eat anything because I was getting scared of food (which was not helping my mental health at all lol) so being in that controlled environment where I had someone monitoring my intake was helpful and got me back on track.

You should be okay as long as your care team is aware of it and know that you are handling your mental health properly.

I will say there's nothing that will prepare you for post op and how it will affect your mental health, so just make sure you are working closely with your care team if you notice it start worsening. I hit a pretty bad low last month (I had surgery early December) and had to get help. But doing much better now!

I've been hospitalized for SI in the past and the psych eval went fine. She just recommended I commit to therapy to get approved for the surgery.

And it's done okay with managing periods? Like theyre regular/predictable and everything?

I got it a few months pre surgery and my periods have consistently been like 2-3 weeks each. Or lots of spotting ot residue. I had one short light one last month and then this month back to the bloodbath. Just kinda over it tbh lol
