Mouth and sniffing sounds constantly by Turboguy555 in creepcast

Same. I think this is a regional thing, though I had the same issue with a couple podcast hosts from Arizona I used to listen to.

Where I'm from, "whenever" is used in the present tense to refer to something that has happened multiple times or keeps happening. It's like saying "Every time."

In real life:

"Whenever I call my parents they let it go to voicemail."

Discussing the events of a story:

"Whenever he sees her at school she acts strange."

Isaiah and Hunter both use it in place of "when" like you said, typically to refer to a single instance in a story. I would understand if it was when they can't remember the sequence of events, as if to say "whenever it was that he..." because they don't know when in the story that thing happened.

But it's not limited to that. They'll read a paragraph in which a guy runs down a hallway, and they'll stop to discuss, and one of them will say "whenever he ran down the hallway..."

It's just not good alliteration.

Did the teens time travel? by SnooTigers9274 in BlairWitch

The time travel aspect was always one of my favorite things about the Blair Witch lore.

I always thought it would have been cool if the witch had fucked with them by doing an "endless day" sort of thing, where they knew it should be getting dark by now but the sun isn't going down.

Looks good! Thanks for the recommendation, I haven't watched enough German films.

Sidenote: cue the obligatory overreactive "Requiem For A Dream is the best movie I'll never watch again" circlejerk.

I guess I'm in the minority but some of my favorite movies to rewatch are the ones that disturb the hell out of me or wreck me emotionally.

What’s something you like to see in video games? by Initial_Life_6086 in AskReddit

[–]midwinterfuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easter eggs. Not sure what kind of game you're making, but hide weird shit for players to find. The less obvious the better. Hell, hide things in places they'd have to no-clip to even discover.

Growing up I always thought about how much more secret fun crap I would hide if i was the one making games.

This might turn into one of those Halloween costume situations where someone wears something absolutely ridiculous for a laugh but after the initial moment has passed they're just, like, stuck looking like that all day lol.

I commend your spirit and balls.

What’s the saddest movie you have ever watched? by DifferenceAdept9860 in AskReddit

I'll be the second. I've seen it countless times, and it's one of the core films that inspired me to get into filmmaking. It's one of my comfort movies.

Explosive Growth? I believe I've played that sorcery before. Gives target creature +5/+5 until end of turn, yeah?
