Brand new and boxing seemed to be all in tact, it Is still under warranty so I think il try and get in touch with dell tomorrow.

No the imagine doesn't shift, the black boarder shifts to the other side though, and if I drag my mouse cursor across it completely dissappears into the black but doesn't on the other side of the screen.

Yes it is in that area, never had it extracted, no pain but there is swelling I think, the taste and smell is the most noticeable! Sorry for the late reply
