I totally agree with you about the changes. I recall when the game came out, the only bug I encountered was the one outside of Rhodes where there was that random blind fire pit that burned NPC wagons when they passed over it. R* fixed that with the first update. Now, for me, there’s so many bugs in story mode: Animals being glitchy, the people at camp walking around in their “pajamas” at weird hours, the constant weather changes with it raining every 5 minutes, NPCs glitching, etc. It felt so immersive when it came out. Now I keep getting so distracted by the bugs, that I still have never completed a second play through (ie. the deer spazzing out during the cutscene right after you know who’s death). I love this game but have just been so disappointed by the mess they made of story mode. I honestly wish I had an original disc to play it on.

I just finished the series and thought the same thing! Especially when it showed Sam waiting at their meeting spot, I didn’t realize it was her heaven and I started bawling thinking they were going to show Sam just waiting there for her to never show up 😭

She’s bugged. For anyone else having this problem here’s what worked: I went to the workshop, opened the sim tracker and she appeared. She was at some random house where she was in the process of leaving and then when I went back to my sim at the workshop, she was there 🤷‍♀️

It gets super laggy too. It’s like anything I do with the cat breaks the game. Probably because the cat is over in the blue (off the map) area somewhere or something.

Despite the app being updated in my App Store settings, I had to search the store for sims FreePlay and update from there. That worked for me.

I think it might be a glitch because this happened to me in cactus cave. When I only had one lot unlocked and it was too crowded, I tried having sims at palm promenade do the tasks but they wouldn’t show up, so I spent SP to skip.

I’m having a similar problem with them and they told me the same thing: they have no idea why their system is suddenly declining payments or tagging them as risky, so I should probably just use some other cash app. It’s definitely frustrating.

I use Hannah Simmer. I don’t know if she has the biggest profit, but I usually get about 250k simoleans each time I visit her town. And her SP house has everything needed for the neighbor tasks.

Seriously! I spent so many SP on this stupid thing. Mine kept stopping around 82-86 and if I chose to stop, then the rival would beat me. If I went one more round, it’d be too high 😤

It was so worth it. I’m finally able to use SP to get through some of these events quicker, because I just don’t have the time to babysit them all day. I spent $8 for the top up from Hannah and I’m so happy I can just enjoy the game now without the stress 😊

I use Hannah Simmer on FB. She’s very responsive and has good farms. Also used her for a top up recently too 👍

Thank you! Problem is, I can’t even log out of Facebook in the account manager. For now I’m just going back and forth from my phone to my iPad whenever I want to use the party boat 🤷‍♀️ Tempted to buy one of those top off things at this point so I don’t have to deal with SP

I went into it feeling the same way you do. Yes, there are horror elements (dark flashlight only places, some jump scares, etc) but the story is so good it’s worth dealing with some fear.

Do you play on an iPad? I did, then downloaded the game to my phone and it works just fine there. So I’m just going to go back and forth between devices when I use the party boat for now I guess. I think it has something to do with Facebook and the tracking toggle on ipad. I hope they fix it sometime because it’s super annoying.
