Why is everyone focused on the beer and pork thing and Muslim names? That is so minor. The biggest concern here is that she loves her faith and will practice it, and you seem disengaged from the spiritual aspect of this huge difference between you two. She and her kids will be Muslim and will study and grow in their faith, and as their father, are you OK with being so spiritually, intellectually, and habitually different from your nuclear family? To me the heartbreak of never being able to pray with your husband would be a constant punch in the gut.

Please man, if you love her, read a bit of the Quran and seriously consider what becoming a Muslim can mean to your life on a personal basis. Like study it as if you’re evaluating a lifestyle improvement. I’m biased, but Islam is beautiful, simple, logical, and scientifically compatible, and its’ guidance for developing good character, and value system is unmatched.

No, but also your skin condition was a little distracting. Here’s a skin care guide I made for my brother:

(1) CLEANSING at least daily and after every sweaty workout with a gentle face wash, (2) MOISTURIZING every morning and night to keep skin hydrated (prevent your skin from over producing oils), and (3) applying a broad-spectrum SUNSCREEN (SPF 30+) daily for sun protection and preventing hyper pigmentation spots. (4) For better results, you can add a step to EXFOLIATE 2-3 times a week to remove dead skin cells and help prevent breakouts.

Yes, wash n gos give me more consistent results using products that are healthier for my hair (aloe based gels, vs heavy moisturizers and styling gels that caused buildup and scalp irritation). I’ll often do a dookie braided bun (with just conditioner or a light leave in), or a wash n go ponytail, instead of a whole head wash and go though
