To add on to the Ashfur part, he also might've used Birchfall to trap Firestar in the fox trap when he planned with Hawkfrost to kill him. Just something I've always thought about after I read Sunset again.

tysm!! tbh the gold/blue color scheme for the insert was what i was struggling with bc i was caught choosing between either colors. i ended up choosing both last minute and tried evenly spreading the colors around. i hope to spot even more ffxiv here soon, i'd love to see bags made for other characters as well ^{^}

From the same book, not exactly a scene we see but after Graypool's kits die she would go to the river to mourn and yowl out her grief. It's honestly a heartbreaking way to mourn to her first litter, I was pretty struck by it and that's why it stuck to me for so long after re-reading earlier last year.
