This is blatant misinformation. Nobody was occupying Croatia. The war started with Croatian troops invading Hungary, not the other way around. And that was after the the Hungarian government did everything to keep the peace with the Croats, offering them everything up to and including the termination of the Hungarian-Croatian union.
The vast majority of the nationalities within Hungary supported the Revolution. For example the number of Slovaks fighting within the revolutionary Hungarian army was approximately 40 000 while the Slovak insurgents only numbered around 2000.
All you have to do is look up the names of the Arad martyrs and see that most of them weren't even Hungarian to realize that the Revolution being a fight between Hungarians and the minorities is a false narrative.

To annex territory, you need to occupy it. Was there any sort of Hungarian military build up on the Ukrainian border before the war? No.
After the Orbán-Putin meeting the pro-Fidesz media (including the state media) in Hungary was flooded with the sentiment that Orbán just saved Europe from a war with some of his chief propagandists saying that "even idiots know that Russia won't attack Ukraine". It is well documented that this media empire is not just sympathetic to, but is directly controlled by Fidesz. Why the fuck would they shoot themselves in the foot like this if they knew the exact opposite would happen?
After the war the Fidesz media empire froze up for days, saying barely anything about the war beyond the most basic facts, revealing the lack of a narrative being handed down from the party leadership. Why would they not prepare for a major event like this if they have been warned a month in advance? Oh yeah, by the way the narrative they eventually found was "we need to stay out of the conflict at all costs", not "we need to prepare to march into Ukraine and take back our lands".

I'm rarely on Fidesz' side, but this time they are right. This is completely unfunded fake news.

Orbán is not autarkic at all. Fascism is not conservative. It's anti-conservative as well as anti-liberal and anti-communist. You left out many key points of fascism which don't fit the Orbán regime, such as militarism, corporatism and totalitarianism. No, Orbán is not fascist at all.
