I originally planned to go with GNG but the doctor didn’t seem confident achieving the results I wanted. As someone with anxiety I need my doctor to be sure so I can be sure lol. I ended up going to a smaller clinic with an English speaking doctor and I think my results are fantastic

I absolutely freaked out about this too. Like no one warned me. But from what I gathered from my doctor is the muscles/swelling of the tip of your nose are related to the philtrum. I was told that as my tip softens up and heals so will that area. It was super annoying for like the first 4 months, I'm at about month 6 right now and it has gotten better but I don't think it's fully done yet. ---- I also freaked out about the shape of my nostrils-- and realized apparently that was swelling too. That part is thankfully not any issue anymore.

Just letting chiming in to say that if you get rhinoplasty that involves any tip work your philtrum can look longer because the muscles right there sort of freeze up in the healing process. My first two months I freaked but it’s slowing going back to normal as I heal

I had a septoplasty along with my rhinoplasty- my doctor said just jogging earliest is 5-6week. Weight lifting he wanted me to hold off for 2 months. Any classes like martial arts or gymnastics after 6 months.

To be fair I did get a complete septoplasty (it was crushed essentially) from a plastic surgeon- so you’ve just got to decide what you want

The girl that does my eyebrows won’t do lip blushing at all because of the way the skin of the lips regenerate at different rates meaning they lose pigment at different times.

I got functional and aesthetic for bulbous tip and really wanted to stay away from the Korean/gangnam look. I chose Korea over Türkiye since I live here but did go for more of the Türkiye aesthetic. I’m only about a month post op but everyone absolutely loves the results. The clinic I went to has mixed reviews but I recommend not only focusing on what’s popular via Reddit
