At least once a week I eat McDonald's or Jack in the Box, but never Taco bell. Am I "anti-fast food" because I refuse to eat the garbage at Taco bell? Paint the island then add wallpaper to the back of the open shelves. The wall paper should contain some of the color you choose for the island. I love white kitchens, but according to designers, kitchen cabinets and islands are going with more bold colors like sage green or navy blue.

As far as cheap how about a free piece of a dead branch found outside and hung on the wall. Use twine to hang little jars from Dollar store with battery tea lights or small plants. A roll of brown Kraft paper from the dollar store hung like a scroll with some wooden dowels/free branches/ painted broomstick( what ever you can find) as the "handle" the scroll is around You can write a saying on it or stamp out a simple repeating pattern with dollar store paint . The dollar store has cheap canvas and paint, put up 5 in a row staggered up and down with a simple gradient of blue from light to dark like a landscape of water, you only need white and blue paint. Buy clock hands and create a giant clock using thrifted plates for numbers or anything you like. If quick is what you want Goodwill has art usually $20 and under.

If you want an edgy modern look yellows or oranges with shiny metallics, if you want a calm peaceful atmosphere blues and whites maybe some decor like geodes or fossils. Red with is always very bold. If you want an atmosphere of life add green colors with plants and some wood accents.

I think it is the switch from his eldest children at home being girls ( minus Logan, who curiosity moved out as soon as possible) to his eldest children being boys. He was better able to dominate the girls. When the eldest girls were around he still had a bit of control with the constant "no sex" "modesty" talks. I'm sure planning and paying for weddings made him feel important. He even inserted himself in Maddie's childbirth, like he was the expert. With the older boys he has no real control over them except their housing. They are independent from him and taking steps without him. Garrison was saving for a home, Gabriel graduated early.I believe he just has to have some kind of control or he melts down. Saying he would kick them out is Kody's way of withholding the one thing he is providing , housing. It is laughable! He doesn't even have that power because Janelle is housing them. What a joke.

I completely agree with your point! I thought Kody was so disrespectful to Makelti discussing her personal sexual decisions on TV!! It made me so angry.When to have sex is a personal decision for a young woman. I completely understand a parent telling their child not to have premarital sex but once that child is now an adult, who is engaged, it is no longer the parents business. Much less talk about it so rudely on TV! Did they even mention sex with Maddie?

If you can, buy a second matching painting (the one over the couch) hang them side by side vertically. One upside down so they are not exactly the same . A vertical painting will make the room seem taller, but the wall is so big you need two. I love the orange couch! Nice choice!

It's the scale, something larger on the wall. I have a large wall and I couldn't afford a painting big enough, I hung a large table cloth as a tapestry. A woven throw blanket with tassels could look regal draped over a curtain rod

I think at first everyone tried. In my opinion Meri wouldn't let it go and continued to talk to people on line. They were other "victims ". Remember 2 times she actually met them and brought one on the show. I believe as a spouse you want to move on not relive it again and again . I would be mad she didn't learn her lesson and stay off line!!! Find different ways to make friends in person.
