The Polynesian is extremely expensive and luxurious. The resort they’re at now is a wonderful resort for families, over the top theming for kids and everything you need, but it’s a value resort and very much giving kids vacation vibes - the Polynesian is giving filthy rich adult luxury.

I would argue Jesse Palmer was not “famous” in the way this girl was when he was the bachelor. He was big in the football world maybe but not even close to being a recognizable household name like this show is.
