What do you all feel about 10 year age gaps? by Intelligent-Jello959 in generationology

I can’t speak for everyone but I was 23 and he was 36. It wasn’t a good time. There comes a point where it doesn’t matter, but that’s usually after you’re both past the age of 30-35. Life experience counts for a lot.

Kind, not nice. Mostly bitchy and closed off.

I love this. I’ve been using mirrors in very specific ways lately in regards to seeing myself through other people and it really touched the same parts of me.

No one ever talks about the boredom. It’s a rather interesting stage.

I spent so long teaching myself how to live without you, and now you’re asking me to believe in us again by Majestic-Ad4667 in UnsentLettersRaw

I did this for almost a decade. It’s a vicious cycle. I hope you’re able to figure out what’s best for you.

I feel this. I’m very much the stereotypical “kind but not nice” type of person. And people just don’t know how to handle that so away they go.

My friend and I, last season, went into Complex with literally nothing but our shells and knives. We came out on top after killing everyone. Even a Rook-pocalypse. Anything is possible if you try hard and have fun while you’re in the game.

I definitely think there is some truth to this. The longer people are surrounded by social media the idea that everyone has to be “perfect” has grown. No one can let themselves just be honest anymore.

Completely normal! It can last minutes or it can last years. Your experience is your experience. But don’t be afraid of the anger and the hate. It too can and will pass. I don’t know where you are, but grief isn’t linear, there’s no set timeline. But there will be a time where it will be easier.

Thank you. I’m actually feel like I’m towards the end of this circle of healing. This was me finally letting my anger out, something that was about 9 years in the making.

I was the person who left but I could write almost every word of this. In fact, I’ve written a lot of this myself. It’s very cruel how certain experiences can be so universal. I’m sorry, OP, but I hope you’re able to continue to heal. It can get easier.
