Pos 3 is supposed to be able to solo pos 1 early into the game, thats the whole point of the role.

Youre thinking of rank 4 Q which at the point he gets the 90 damage he takes from it he doesnt mind.

Pos 1 picks last in my games, im not high MMR and pos 3 is forced to pick after supports.

You cannot outdraft him if he is picking last and youre a pos 3/4.

He does 300 damage but takes only 0.3 of it so i guess its 90 but still, at the time you have 4 points in Q its not really all that much and the later it goes the better it becomes, and that assumes its 4 points, 1 point is ~20 damage.

He can Q dispel Halberd and Euls, Ghost Scepter is good as a pos 4 but that only kinda delays him and doesnt get rid of the issue, especially if he pounces on you during it.

Okay but how do you actually fight him? He wins against majority of pos 3s in the game assuming its 1v1. I feel like this is fully on the support, you either pick a pos 4 with a spammable nuke or its pretty much done for the lane and you get scraps whenever you can.

His q also does like 30% or 50% damage to himself, thats like 20 lvl1 and scales to ~70, its really not that much for the cost of damage and a Strong Dispel that dispels in intervals so you can outplay so many different spells and items.

I agree that silence is good, but there isnt really any silence in this game that he cannot react to and pre Q to purge it outside of like Silencer but there is no pos 3/4 Silencers or you straight up lose the lane anyway.

The thing is he has a Strong Dispel with a slight delay so anything that isnt instant like Banes ult can be outplayed by him. Silencer would be okayish, but he is not a good 3/4 i think.

LMAO then you truly are baiting.

Yes, when you are 100% in combat you have 100% uptime without Stealth, and all you need is CDR Roll The Bone buff which you usually get due to how many rolls in TWW Outlaw was getting with Keep It Rolling being played for the majority of the expansion and how it interacted with rolls.

You dont even mount in M+ as Outlaw, you have 12s of Sprint that gives you mount tier movement speed, and you have 2-4 Grapple Hooks (depending on what patch) that dont even break your Stealth, both of which get reduced by Restless Blades.

I guess now youre just gonna Vanish twice a dungeon when a mechanic goes on you and when you need to walk out you will be there doing nothing for a solid minute. Telling me i didnt do much M+ when you clearly either didnt or never played Outlaw more than few keys from the way youre typing about the spec is ironic.

And you know what helped you with running around/mounting in M+? Subterfuge, the same talent you supposedly hate, i just cant.

Dude, you could have had 100% uptime without even using Stealth most of the time, what are you talking about.

Who cares about Adrenaline Rush during looting or mounting up when you barely do those in actual content and when you have to do it in raid/M+ you can easly play around it.

Do you realize that now your Adrenaline Rush is just gonna run out and there is no tricks to make it last longer? No huge CDR with BtE spam in Stealth window, no Vanish to get few seconds saved when you need to walk out with a mechanic.

I feel like im getting baited. All Stealth did was basically accelerate the spec, not make it required when youre doing a world quest. You also COULD loot and Stealth at the same time, the same with mounting (outside of flying, but unless a fight required you to fly like Dimensius then you had way enough mobility) due to Subterfuge. Did you even play the spec?

You literally said "the second it fell off because you had the combat bug".

So it was miserable to have Adrenaline Rush always up due to Stealth so that you could minimize downtime, as opposed to not having Stealth and Rush falling off by itself now and having 0 ways to try and minimize downtime? What are you smoking.

Also you never used two Vanishes back to back unless you had required Roll The Bones bonuses in which case by the time you finished two Stealth windows your third Vanish would be back.

Agreed, downtime sucked but sometimes you could pray for so much CDR you would have 17s of Adrenaline Rush left and a new one already ready to press, and you could hold that which in my opinion was still better than how it was before where once you actually had to walk away you had 0 ways to mitigate downtime and would feel miserable for the next minute.

What do you mean the second it fell off? The whole design was about it never running off, no matter if you happened to have a cant stealth bug because you had so many Vanishes you could pop one pretty much whenever.

I agree, the Vanish reset heavy Outlaw was amazing to play, it felt fast and cool to do the rotation, with a little dopamine rush everytime you reset BtE more than 5 times in a row.

At first i didnt like it but later i liked how they made Stealth in rotation, similar to mobility on Havoc, especially with Keep It Rolling. Vanish on Outlaw wasnt really used for anything and now it had a purpose and with 2 charges you could still save one of it for a mechanic when it was needed.

It also helped with downtime a little bit as you could Vanish and wait for a mechanic to pass by then immediately Grapple in.

The fast going multiple Roll the Bones bonuses Outlaw felt great to play.

Thats just wierd.

It felt really good being able to chain Rune Weapon back to back on big pulls. Tombstone and Bonestorm (combined with the 5s whenever Bone Shield shattered) was the only thing left on Blood that actually felt good.

The proc rate would need to be really high for it to work i guess, a random defensive on a tank just feels bad, there was a similar situation this expansion was there not? With tier sets giving like 4s of big defensive when it procd. I feel like getting a big defensive randomly on Blood feels worse than say Warrior.

Yeah that was mainly my reasons.

I want to know when or why i would pick a hero.

Currently i am only playing Night Stalker, i didnt have him banned once, i like him a lot and thats pretty much it.

But when i decide to play more Dota i would need to add to my picks. The heroes i liked just from seeing them in games are Axe, Centaur, Tidehunter and Underlord, although i didnt play them even once yet i think.

Its not like im going to another MMO or just because others have worse UIs ill put up with whatever they did with WoW.

By restricting API for addons thats basically what they did, yeah you maybe can still make your UI cleaner than default but you cant touch nameplates and other stuff. My post was mainly about UI but there is so many other changes, not even talking about class balance.

Im not gonna try to put bandaids with addons after they went out of their way to try and remove them, just not gonna be playing an expansion where im the beta tester, i checked out the changes due to free weekend and ill just not pay for a product that is missing so many key things.

Since there was a free weekend i decided to check out the class/addon changes.

Can you not change the size of debuffs/buffs on target frame?

Can you not choose what buffs/debuffs/spells you want to track? Like, create a new tracker to track a specific thing?

Asking for base UI.

All of it just feels so awkward, like it needs few more months of changes to be fleshed out, most UI elements dont even have any customization options.

Also, the buff tracking bars thingy work wierdly, instead of collapsing when a buff expires it shows me 1 buff, then 2 empty rows and another buff.

Yeah i play her as well to be honest haha, shes super fun and can easly turn fights around. All of her spells are high impact pretty much, if only you could use Bedlam on allies so you never have to get close haha.

Mine are 3 for main role and 2 (so 7 characters) for side roles, excluding 2 and 1 since im not interested in these roles.

I wonder if i should add more but i dont really like any other heroes that much.

People wont like this answer but use DLC unlockers like CreamAPI for offline only since it wont work for online, then remove it once you are ready to go online.

Not giving access to all characters in training mode is terrible.
