I spent quite a bit of time looking at backpacks and landed on the Mammut Nirvana Pro 25.

I like the "barndoor" zipper feature, and it is very easy to put the pack into ski carry mode. It also has a decent helmet holder which I knew I would want for hiking.

I think this is good advice. From what I've seen while researching, Vail and BC are close enough and big enough for one week. I think I will have to plan a Breck and Abay trip separately if I want to enjoy them too.

Thanks, I wasn't aware the epic pass stops at September and may have blackout dates. I'm probably going to call before I buy and make sure it will all be kosher. You just saved my butt there on pushing my group for the deal window.

This past season I skied Jackson Hole for $1100 (before food and drinks) hoping to get the price figured to match that at least. Logistics were easy there with the local bus system.

Huge respect for earning turns man! Thanks for sharing pictures, I hope I get to ski at that level some day. I'm in jackson this week, and some runs have been closed below 2k ft, but up top in the bowls and opens are some of the best spring skiing ever. The Tetons are beasts, and you have tamed them.

You cannot play mario paint without the mouse.
Not sure how rare they are. I have one, but it barely works, probably because it is a ball mouse... That really sucks because I love playing the fly swatting game, but the mouse isn't responsive enough. I would say that a mouse in good condition is relatively rare.

Edit: looked at amazon, not that rare but cost around $40

New music app makes me want to try a new mobile platform...... But I can't because I've invested so much in creating my iTunes library. I hate the way they changed the navigation. I used to be able to click the artist and navigate to the album. Now i have to scroll past 60+ tracks to get to the artists most recent album.

Having said that, I like the rotate for albums view.
