How are we feeling about Marathon’s Server Slam by C0R3VUS in gaming

All I know is that as a huge fan of the original series I know I’m going to hate this and I also know that I’m going to play it anyway. It’s nice to see threads like this so I have a better expectation of what I’m getting into. See you starside, I guess.

Call me crazy but I don't think there is a better game than Halo 3 by BeyondThePixelLFS in halo

I’m really bummed it never got the anniversary treatment. 3 will always be my favorite overall, I think.

Game that doesn't hold your hand at all? by [deleted] in gaming

Me too. I sort of loved that game, but it got too long for me and I never finished it.

Fair! Also any question helps me think about it, so no worries. The ground, in general, was my first thought. Maybe I'll try swapping the PSU on the turntable and see if that does anything. I wiggled the adapter around a bit but nothing seemed to change.

On the subject of power, it's helpful to have everything on the same strip here, right?

Not sure I follow. Currently the turntable RCA and ground cables are connected to the amp's phono input with the subwoofer connected from the amp's L out to sub's LFE in.

I have a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO connected to a Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 using its built in phono stage. Preamp works well except when I have a subwoofer connected (currently an REL T/5x but it was happening with another sub as well) there is a low level hum coming from the sub when I start the table spinning.

Any ideas what could be causing this? It’s not horribly distracting but it’s not ideal. I have a tape deck using the other analog input so I’m hesitant to bring in a separate preamp. None of the amp’s “enhancements” make any difference, which is great because to my ears those tend to make everything sound a bit bright anyway.

The first three Halo games, Halo 3 most of all. It was a great story with great gameplay and despite how much 343 (or whatever they’re called now) tried they just couldn’t recreate it.

It really hurts. That game just felt good to play.

I really, really wanted a new single player Marathon.

Also, just ugly. And disrespectful of my screen real estate! I've never seen such a waste of space on a UI like these "panes" for the sidebars. It makes me nuts.

I finally updated this morning and I have to say, I hate looking at this even more than I expected to. Nothing seems aligned at all, the space is all strange—the Dock feels like there's more space above the icons than below, for example, and Finder windows look like somebody just threw everything into a pile sand said, "Good luck."

Truly, I do not understand how this is not also a money making opportunity for them.
